It has been under a month since I last ranked my favorite video games. That list had a fatal flaw: it wasn't objective enough about my subjectivity! So today I've decided to do a top 25 as determined by a BINARY SORTER. What does that mean? It means that I pick what I like between two selections, and do so until a ranking of 82 games I have under consideration are placed. I will give the top 50. In the process of doing this, I've come to prefer this sort of method to the curation method I used on the Top 22 list last month. It's messier and not limited to only one game per series, but are we really all so perfect as to have one favorite game per franchise? Sometimes you don't know yourself.
